The procedure is aimed at detecting defects in construction and determining technical state of buildings or facilities. They are assessed in order to control their state and to find out whether repair or reconstruction works are required.
The buildings and facilities to be checked include: industrial sites, lots, warehouses, and storages; underground and aboveground reinforced concrete tanks; buildings of gas distribution plant; boiler houses, etc.
The reasons for the management to conduct examination:
If an object’s strength has declined in merely one point (its foundation, bearing walls, etc.) it might lead to losses (fatalities and extra costs).
This procedure is mandatory for dangerous industrial facilities;
Based on the examination results the final decision is developed and approved.
If the values (indicators) are correct and the examination is conducted according to regulations, positive conclusion of industrial expert commission is issued on the facility.
